Then Ed Calderon enters the studio, and Adam asks him about growing up in Tijuana. They go on to talk about his job working in law enforcement, and his observation that the government doesn’t rule certain parts of Mexico. Other topics of conversation include the danger of cartels, how drugs are crossing our border, and the culture of idolizing the bandit over the hero. Later they discuss the story of El Chapo’s son, trying to stop corruption, and some of the horrible things that Ed has seen south of the border.
